Independent living this week going to our local Herons store, we worked out our budget and spoke about hidden additives within our food – It was a great way for our people to interact with the community and support businesses

This is one of our youngest members at Holder House and he only started recently, it certainly looks like he’s enjoying his time with us
Did you know we run an Afterschool club every Tuesday and Thursday? Now its not as dark we can finally go back to the park! 
Our people want to say a massive thank you to Sarah and Lynne from Training in Care for doing 2 afternoon sessions this week learning all about math – We had such a good time and it was a great learning experience!

Our support worker Sharon and Senior activity support worker Dianne came up with a fantastic idea to use old cardboard and jigsaw pieces to make a wreath! One of the children even suggested to use the middle part we cut out to make clocks 
On Wednesday we were back at our football at Boldon Community Centre we go every week… not just for football but for the delicious food they serve at the cafe, the pool tables, gym and swimming equipment. It’s great only having to venture to one destination as they have loads to offer

Now the weather is getting a little bit brighter our team (staff, volunteers and clients) have been working endlessly in our garden getting prepared for a revamp before our people go back. We can’t wait to show everyone what we have planned
